Text messages, ready for court.
Drop in your phone's message export. Get back a paginated, Bates-numbered PDF with every message in order, a conversation index, a cover page that documents the source file, and a signed declaration your attorney can file with it. Your messages never leave this browser.

Who is "me"?
Pick yourself so each message is labelled SENT or RECEIVED from your side, and type the name the court will see.
Conversations to include
Date range (optional)
2 · Exhibit details
3 · Declaration (optional, recommended)
A one-page sworn statement that identifies the export file and this exhibit by hash. Fill it in now and it is generated alongside the exhibit; sign it in front of a notary if your court requires.
The full, unwatermarked exhibit and its hash certificate need an unlock code.
Already have a code?
Codes are issued per export at warren@lavall.ee while online checkout is being finished. Attorneys: ask for a firm code.
Your exhibit
How it works
- Export from the phone. Android: install SMS Backup & Restore and back up to an XML file. WhatsApp: open the chat, More → Export chat. Anything else: a CSV with date, sender and text columns.
- Drop the file here. It is hashed (SHA-256) and parsed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
- Choose conversations and dates, name yourself, and set the exhibit label and Bates prefix your attorney wants.
- Download the PDF plus the declaration. Both cite the export file's hash; the declaration also cites the exhibit's own hash, so anyone can prove later that the file was not altered.
What goes in the PDF
- A cover page documenting the source file (name, size, SHA-256, backup date, counts) and exactly what was selected.
- An index of conversations with page numbers.
- Every message, verbatim, in chronological order within each conversation, labelled SENT or RECEIVED with the full timestamp and time zone.
- Emoji rendered as drawn, not dropped. Attachments listed with file name, type, size and hash; pictures shown as thumbnails.
- Carrier sent-time, delivery status, deleted and edited flags when the export records them.
- Bates numbers and "Page n of N" on every page.
Privacy
Parsing and PDF rendering happen entirely on your device. The only thing Exhibit's server ever receives, and only if you ask it to register a certificate, is the hashes of the files and the page and message counts. It never receives a message, a name or a phone number. There are no accounts and no analytics scripts.
Exhibit prepares documents; it does not give legal advice. Whether an exhibit is admissible depends on your court's rules. Have your attorney review the declaration before signing.
